How far will Responder Services travel?
We generally offer our services to locations in central and northeast Wisconsin, roughly from Stevens Point to Manitowoc & Green Bay to West Bend. We will always consider special arrangements for classes elsewhere, but travel fees may apply for locations more than 70 miles from Berlin, WI.
How many participants are needed for CPR Class?
We generally limit class size to 15 participants, to allow adequate instructor-student interaction. Our minimum charge is for 9 participants @ $35 per person.
What equipment and space are needed for On-Site Classes?
You’ll need to provide an area large enough for participants to sit during video and lecture, and room to practice CPR on manikins, while kneeling on the floor. Otherwise, we bring everything, including video projection, practice manikins, AED simulators & hand-outs.
How long are standard certifications?
CPR-AED and First Aid credentials are valid for two years, Bloodborne Pathogens certification is valid for one year, in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Renewal training must occur while credential is valid.
What is a Refresher Course?
A refresher (renewal or recertification) course is a modified training program for individuals who have already completed certification. These abbreviated programs are quicker paced and include skills review and testing.
