About Responder Services
Responder Services LLC is based in Berlin, Wisconsin, just west of Oshkosh and minutes outside the Fox Valley. The company was established in 2007 by retired paramedic Bill Johnson.
During his paramedic career, Johnson managed successful Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) programs in several communities and became a huge advocate for public CPR/AED training.
He also became aware that many people are reluctant to equip their facility with an AED, over concerns about cost, liability, employee training or just the perceived complexity of setting up such a program.
The company was founded under the belief that AEDs should be available at as many locations as possible, and having an AED on premises, (with trained staff to use it) should be an easy process for business, school, church, government facilities and civic organizations.
In short, we exist to make equipping your facility with an AED, a simple, cost effective and single step event.
What We Offer
We specialize in Public Access AED Programs, including AED sales, regulatory compliance, AED maintenance and CPR-AED accessories, (pads, batteries, decals, storage options, CPR masks & rescue supplies.)
Our factory-direct AED sales are often priced lower than many warehouse or discount websites. We work closely with our clients to ensure set-up & installation are appropriate, and that your AED is properly maintained and ready for action.
We are an authorized distributor for Cardiac Science Corporation and carry their full line of Powerheart® AED products. Cardiac Science AEDs offer cutting edge technology, are manufactured in Wisconsin and have a full 8-year warranty (the longest in the industry).
Our On-Site CPR-AED Training uses only American Heart Association curriculum & media materials, (the gold standard for professional CPR-AED training). All our instructors are paramedics and EMTs, with years of teaching experience. Successful course completion earns a 2-year AHA credential, issued through the Wisconsin Technical College System.
We work hard to make AED placement and CPR training simple, convenient & cost effective.
